Finally Vivo V40 series including Vivo V40 and V40 Pro launched in India. The official launch streamed on Vivo’s official YouTube channel and announced its key specifications. As expected the Vivo has again brought a cutting-edge ZEISS co-engineered camera setup.
Vivo V40 Series Specifications
Avnish Kumar, Head of Vivo’s ‘V’ series, announced that both the V40 and V40 Pro phones have a 3D curved display, making the design extremely innovative. Both of the Vivo V40 models have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels. This immersive display supports 4,500 nits peak brightness
He also mentioned that both phones are only 7.58mm thick, despite including the largest 5500mAh battery, making them the thinnest phones in India. Also, they support 80W fast charging support.
The Vivo V40 series is launched with three stunning color options: Lotus Purple, Genging Blue, and Titanium Grey.
The phone boasts an innovative camera setup by self-engineered machinery and co-engineered with ZEISS technology.
There is a triple ZEISS-engineered 50 MP camera setup on the rear side including an Ultra Wide lens, an OIS Main Camera, and a Portrait camera. On the Front side is the 50Mp shooter.
The Vivo V40 launched with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor like the Vivo V30 but the Vivo V40 Pro flaunts the forward of it with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. The phone is running on Funtouch OS 14, based on the Android 14 software.
As for the memory, the Vivo V40 comes with an 8 GB RAM+ 128 GB Storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage options, when we looked up the V40 Pro, they come with the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage, 12GB RAM + 256 GB Storage / 12 GB RAM 512 GB Storage.
