HONOR Magic V2: Overview

The HONOR Magic V2 was launched on 27th July 2023 with a powerful CPU, Excellent Camera Setup, more RAM, Storage, and an Immersive display.

Looking at its body, it is made with a Glass front, glass back or eco-leather back, magnesium alloy frame, and titanium alloy folding mechanism and its dimensions are 156.7 x 145.4 x 4.7 mm when unfolded and 156.7 x 74.1 x 9.9 mm when it is folded still its weight is around 237 grams only.

The HONOR Magic V2 features a 7.92-inch, 120Hz LTPO OLED inside display and another 6.43 inches with a 1060 x 2376 pixel resolution on the outer side. The phone runs on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 UI skin and will get the next major software update.

As for the CPU and performance, the phone is restricted to two models – An international variant and a Chinese variant. The International Model of HONOR Magic V2 foldable comes with the Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) SoC while the Chinese variants house Qualcomm SM8550-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) Soc. There is a minor difference between both differences.

The International variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has a max clock speed of 3.19GHz cores while the Chinese variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has 3.60GHz max clock speed primary cores.

Both models come with the same Adreno 740 GPU and triple rear camera support. The rear side has a dual 50 Mp camera and a 20-camera setup including a wide-angle camera, a Telephoto camera, and an ultra-wide camera that supports 10-bit, 4K recording at 60FPS/30FPS.

For selfie and front face video, there is a 16Mp shooter on the front side that allows you 4K Recording at 30FPS.
